30th August, Frankfurt is reportedly making efforts to sign Brighton midfielder Daley Propper, as reported by Patrick Berger, a journalist from Sky Sports Germany.

In a tweet, Berger stated, "Frankfurt is working on a surprising signing: Daley Propper, 27 years old. In the past few hours, talks have really accelerated, as the midfielder is looking for a move and Brighton is open to it. Propper has recently been left out of Brighton's squad list."

The journalist also added, "There is no final agreement yet, but Frankfurt is working on it. This could even be a permanent transfer, rather than a loan. If this transfer does not materialize, Frankfurt has other candidates."

Propper left Borussia Dortmund as a free agent in the summer of 2023 and joined Brighton. In the second half of last season, he was loaned out to Stuttgart. Frankfurt is in need of a defensive midfielder due to a long-term injury to their new signing, Oscar Hoyer, who fractured his metatarsal bone.
